Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Makkah region and Chairman of Hajj Central Committee conveyed today the greetings and congratulations of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz; Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General; and Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior and Chairman of Hajj Supreme Committee; to the Minister of Hajj Dr. Fouad bin Abdulsalam Al-Farsy and all officials of Hajj ministry and other Hajj establishments on the success of this year's Hajj season.
In a message transmitted from his office via the wireless of the Ministry of Hajj during his meeting with Undersecretary of Hajj Ministry for Hajj Affairs Hatem bin Hassan Qadhi and other ministry's officials, Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz noted that Hajj Central Committee will hold a meeting next Saturday to discuss Hajj matters.
In a similar message via the wireless, Dr. Al-Farsy indicated that this year's Hajj has been the greatest in the Kingdom's history, adding that the Ministry of Hajj supervised nearly 2 million pilgrims within an integrated system and coordination with all bodies to provide the best services and facilities for pilgrims.
Chief of Saudi Red Crescent Society receives cable of thanks

Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Chief of Saudi Red Crescent Society has received a cable of thanks and appreciation from the Secretary General of the Arab Organization of Red Crescent and Red Cross Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Hazza for the distinguished efforts exerted by the Society during this year's Hajj season.
Prince Faisal thanked the Secretary General and members of the Arab Organization for their feelings towards the Society, noting that the service of pilgrims comes in line with the directives of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and the Crown Prince who put stress on providing the best services for pilgrims to ensure their security and safety.
Heads of Hajj Missions hail Saudi services for Pilgrims

A number of Heads of Hajj Missions have highlighted services being extended by The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, citing the awareness plan presented by the Ministry of Islamic affairs, Endowment, Call and Guidance to ensure that Pilgrims are performing their Rituals in a proper manner.
The Copies of Holy Quran distributed to every departing Pilgrim as a gift from The Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques are the most valuable and honorable gesture of the King, they said.
On his part, the Head of Thailand Hajj Mission, Dr. Ismael Jamakia, who is also a member of parliament and rector of Jala Islamic University in Thailand said that Thailand Pilgrims are highly pleased with what the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is offering in terms of care and facilities to Pilgrims.
The Chairman of the Turkish Hajj Mission, Professor Ali Bardaq Oqulo praised the constantly developing services presented to Pilgrims every year.
Indonesian Minister of Islamic affairs Dr. Mohamed Maftouh Basuoni pointed out that Indonesian Pilgrims greatly appreciate the services and facilities which are extended to Pilgrims.
On their part, Jordanian Minister of Endowment and Islamic Shrines affairs Dr. Abdulafatah Musa Salah, who is also head of his Country's Hajj Mission as well as Yemeni Minister of Endowment judge Hamoud Al-Hatar , head of Yemeni Hajj Mission, also lauded the services and facilities of the Kingdom, which attracted appreciation of all pilgrims around the world.
They termed the Gift of The Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques to Pilgrims as a "climax and complementary" of services and facilities being extended by The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pilgrims.
All governmental and private organs in Madinah region, which are participating in this year's Hajj, are applying the most sophisticated technologies that facilitate the reception and departure procedures of pilgrims since their arrival in Madinah and departure from the city of the Prophet (Peace be upon him) to their home-countries under the follow-up and care of Prince Abdul-aziz bin Majed bin Abdul-aziz, the Governor of Madinah region, who is also the Chairman of the Hajj Committee in Madinah.
Meanwhile, a report prepared by Statistics and Documentation Department, an affiliate of the Hajj Committee in Madinah, released here yesterday said the number of pilgrims who have arrived in Madinah totaled 190,094 and those who departed the holy city up to yesterday accounted for 37,735. Thus the remaining pilgrims in Madinah city totaled 152,359.
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has sent a reply cable of thanks to Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Interior Minister and Chairman of the Hajj Supreme Committee, on the occasion of the success of this year's Hajj.
Following is the text of the cable addressed to the minister:
"We have received your cable containing congratulations by you and all those who participated in this year's Hajj on the occasion of the blessed Eid Aladha and the success of the security plans of this year's, 1428 H., Hajj.
As we thank you and all our sons who participated in that task from all sectors for their good and noble feelings, we thank the almighty God for the success of the security, services, organizational and preventive plans which were set for serving the pilgrims. Our country considers serving the pilgrims as the prominent historical event in its life and therefore mobilizes all capabilities and powers to ensure the easy and comfortable performance of this great pillar by all Muslims. We thank God that Muslims performed this year's Hajj in serenity and peace.
The increased level of services and organization year after year despite the increasing number of pilgrims every year is due to the sincere efforts by our sons who have been capable of shouldering this responsibility and have exerted sincere efforts which resulted in achieving this success which has been felt by all at all levels. We thank them and may God bless their efforts to serve their religion and homeland."
Earlier, Prince Naif sent a cable to the king congratulating him on the Eid and highlighting the success of this year's Hajj.
In the cable, Prince Naif said this year's Hajj succeeded with high levels of skillful performance due to sincere efforts by the command of the Hajj security forces.
Prince Naif said more than 3,000,000 pilgrims were able to perform Hajj easily and comfortably and highlighted efforts to ease movements of the pilgrims in the holy places.
Prince Naif said this year's Hajj was free from any unusual events or actions despite the region's situation which required vigilance and caution.
Prince Naif said this year's Hajj was ideal by all criteria due to the government's efforts and facilities mobilized to serve the pilgrims.
Undersecretary of Hajj Ministry meets Head of Iraqi Hajj Mission

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Hajj Hatem bin Hassan Qadhi met here on Thursday evening with Head of Iraqi Hajj Mission Sheikh Mohammed Taqi Al-Maula.
During the meeting, they discussed matters related to the mission and Iraqi pilgrims.
The head of the mission commended the great services and facilities provided by the government of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and the Crown Prince as well as the developmental projects and expansion of the Two Holy Mosques and the holy places to enable pilgrims to perform their Hajj rituals easily and comfortably.
Prince Abdulaziz bin Majid bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Madinah Region, is following up and supervising services provided to pilgrims who come to visit Madinah and pray at the Mosque of the Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) before leaving for their countries.

Head of Egyptian Hajj Mission hails facilities for Pilgrims

Egyptian Minister of Economic Development Osman Mohamed Osman, who was also head of his Country's official Hajj mission, has highlighted the great services and facilities extended to Pilgrims in this year's Pilgrimage.
In an arrival statement, on return home, Osman praised the distinguished arrangements in the movements of Pilgrims especially at the Jamarat Bridge citing this Year Hajj as "very successful."
As many as 52 Egyptian Pilgrims - men and women, passed away because of chronic diseases and natural causes, he added.
Lebanese Pilgrims hail Saudi accomplishments in Holy Sites

Saudi boy scouts gear up to serve Pilgrims in Madinah

Within the framework of the flow of pilgrims and visitors to Madinah after performing their Hajj Rituals, The Saudi Arabian Scouts Society is gearing up and intensifying all its efforts and facilities to offer best services to them.
All facilities, human power and technical potentials are being mobilized in cooperation with Hajj services - related quarters to extend the best services to Pilgrims and visitors who are visiting the Prophet's ( Peace be upon him) Mosque, said Head of Scouts Society Camp, an affiliate of Education Department in Madinah Region Taha bin Mohamed Qassim.
A number of Scout teams are also participating with Madinah Region Traffic Authority in arranging Pilgrims and visitors for To and Fro journeys, he added.
